Harvard Medical- CPR Ambassador Program
Each year, more than 350,000 people in the U.S. suffer an out-of-hospital cardiac arrest—and fewer than 10 percent survive. Immediate, effective bystander CPR can double or even triple a victim’s chance of survival.
To grow that life-saving skill set, Harvard’s CrimsonEMS and the American Heart Association created the CPR Ambassador Progra

To grow that life-saving skill set, Harvard’s CrimsonEMS and the American Heart Association created the CPR Ambassador Program. Each fall, Harvard EMT mentors train more than 60 high-school ambassadors in hands-only CPR and advocacy; throughout the year, those students teach peers, table at events, and spread CPR/AED know-how with ongoing CrimsonEMS support.
