1. It is important that you and/or your child attend every class ( unless sick). I do understand how difficult this can be, but learning how to swim and save yourself will take time.
2. If you/your child cannot make class, kindly TEXT SF at 617 331 3123 before class begins because it is easier for me to communicate on swim days while I am on my way to the pool.
3. Please be present when your child is changing or going to the bathroom. Children under 18 cannot be in the swim facility locker room without a parent/guardian.
4. If your child is absent for more than 2 times (other than illness) SF will use your spot for a child on the waitlist.
5. We are funded by grants and donations. If you can give any amount (in addition to the class fee), that will help others learn to swim.
6. Our goal for our swimmers is to learn how to swim 25 years without a flotation device and endure deep water immersion/recovery. Once this happens, the swimmer will graduate.
7. SF gives free water safety classes for the public. We also Red Cross certify groups in CPR/ AED/ First Aid for a fee. Please contact us directly.
8. All parents need to take the Water Safety Ambassador Course with the Red Cross for free or get the Red Cross app, which has a lot of safety information on it.
9. If we have forgotten anything, please let me know by phone or email. SF will get right back to you.
